AFL (Aussie Rules)

The AFL stands for Australian Football League (also called "Aussie Rules"), is a physical contact sport, which was invented in Victoria over 150 years ago.

The AFL now operates a successful national competition with a 1-4 clubs representing each state in Australia, making it the biggest sporting competition in Australia. Support attendance range form 20 – 50,000, spectators to each game depending on which club is playing and stadium.

 

The AFL competition operates from March to October. Ensure you attend a game as the atmosphere is amazing.

NBL (Basketball)

The NBL stands for National Basketball League an is Australia’s premier national basketball competition with 10 teams from all over Australia and New Zealand competing for the title.


The NBL competition operates from September to March.

A-League (Footbal)

The A-league is a revamped national football competition in Australia from the old NSL. Kicking off in 2005, it has become a sporting success in Australia combined with the Australian Socceroos success on the international level.

The A-league is represented by 8 club competition, one club from each state, with an average crowd attendance of 12,000.
