General Information

Circular Quay is located in Sydney Cove and is the centre of Sydney Harbour. On a sunny day the Harbour is filled with ferries, boats and yachts soaking up a piece of the world’s best harbour/views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline. And just north of Circular Quay is The Rocks, Sydney’s oldest area, filled with history dating back to the convict days.

Circular Quay and The Rocks is best discovered on foot as it filled with parks and walkways, sandstone lanes and terraces built in the 19th century. The quay is also home to the famous Sydney Opera House.

Circular Quay is the transport centre for ferries, trains and buses. Ferries leave regularly to Manly, Taronga Zoo, Watson Bay and Mosman. Also Trains and Buses depart here to CBD, Bondi and Eastern suburbs.

Along one side of the Cove is filled with Harbour side restaurants, were you can dine and enjoy the spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.

To appreciate all this area has to offer, take an easy stroll around Sydney Harbour capturing the visual splendour of Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House and continue to the magnificent Royal Botanic Gardens situated on the face of the harbour.
