Want to discover how ordinary Sydneysiders lived? Then visit The Rocks and Susannah Place, a terrace of four houses typically English in design with a re-created 1915s corner store.

Built in 1844 and home to more than 100 families over 150 years, these buildings are a delicate patchwork of their lives. Inside the terraces oral histories of past tenants are intertwined with the physical traces they left behind. With rooms recreated to different periods in its long history, there is plenty to see.
